Job Description Job Description Self-Direction DSP -Syracuse Area (Job RD-SM) Arise/Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Syracuse area with a man who requires assistance. The individual is looking for a dedicated staff to provide him with support and assist him with maintaining his independence both at home and in community settings. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting with community habilitation, light housekeeping, meal preparation and general independence. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient, and enthusiastic. Prior experience a plus. Reliable transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency. Work hours include Monday through Friday, 10am - 12pm or 2pm - 4pm, and occasional hours on weekends and holidays are available. The pay rate is $21 per hour. EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
