working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Rochester,
New York, 14621! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Must have
New York license in hand. EPIC experience is required. Description:
MUST HAVE NY LICENSE IN HAND - NO EXCEPTIONS. Specialty: RN in
Progressive Care Unit. Shift: 4x12 Nights from 19:00 to 07:00.
Contract length: 13 weeks. Weekend work: Every other weekend.
Floating: Required. First time travelers: Accepted. Candidates must
be within a 75-mile radius. Patients are managed with a ratio of
1:5 to 1:7. Required skills include cardiac monitoring and
emergency response. Nurses will interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
Familiarity with rapid response and code team involvement is
necessary. Experience in IV therapy and phlebotomy is required.
Nurses will provide peripheral line care and management. Knowledge
of respiratory care, including nasal cannula and oxygen
administration, is essential. Candidates must adhere to isolation
precautions. The unit has 26 beds and focuses on providing
exceptional, evidence-based care to patients. Patient population
includes adults requiring specialized care beyond general
medical-surgical units. Patients have continuous pulse-oximetry and
telemetry monitoring. Care includes airway management, acute BIPAP
support, and management of arterial and central lines. Nurses will
attend to patients on titrated medicated IV infusions. The team
provides vigilant, compassionate care using a multidisciplinary
approach. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. Daily
census averages 17 patients. The unit collaborates with various
interdisciplinary support teams, including physical therapy and
respiratory services. Patients may present with a range of medical
diagnoses, with particular focus on pulmonary patients. Nurses are
expected to manage cardiopulmonary health and provide comprehensive
