Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work in Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit with 19 beds • Day/evening shift ratios are 5:1 (stretch to 6-7:1) • Night shift ratios are 6-7:1 (stretch to 8-10:1 if staff calls in) • Mandatory competency with phlebotomy and IV placement required • Must have 1 year of recent nursing experience • BLS certification required • Epic charting system experience is a hard requirement • Scrub color: Any combination of navy and white • Weekend requirement: Every other weekend • Float requirement: Yes, must float within scope to meet facility needs • 16 hours of orientation provided • Block scheduling available but not guaranteed • Maximum 1 week RTO allowed per contract • Must be skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias • Experience with rapid response team activation required • Skills include peripheral line care, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations • Care for cardiac unit patients • PCT support available for vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and activities of daily living Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive medical-surgical telemetry unit specializing in cardiac care.
