ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/17/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour shifts with day/night rotation from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 13-week contract length • Every other weekend schedule required • Floating to other units is required • Handle patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7 for MedSurg patients • Work in high volume unit with 26 beds caring for CHF patients, acute MI's, post device care (pacemakers) and patients with arrhythmias • Also work with 51 bed unit caring for general surgery patients including colon rectal, ostomies, plastic and cosmetic center patients, breast procedures and reconstruction surgeries • Minimum 1 year of experience required • New York nursing license must be in hand before submission - no exceptions • EPIC charting experience is required • BLS certification required • ACLS certification required • Must be comfortable with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response/code teams, blood product administration, peripheral line care/management, oxygen administration, wound care/wound vac, and isolation precautions • Scrub color requirement: any combination of navy and white • Candidates must live more than 75 miles from facility • First time travelers accepted • Pre-start modules required (billable up to 5 hours) Facility: This tertiary care hospital features 528 total staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services to the community.
