Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Providing occupational therapy services in a school setting, this contract position focuses on supporting middle school-aged students through young adults (up to 22 years old) with diverse needs including multiple disabilities, Autism, Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). The role is based in Webster, NY, with services delivered at a nearby school location. This opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through June 26, 2026, offering a consistent schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week. Key responsibilities include: - Conducting assessments and providing therapeutic interventions tailored to each students unique developmental and functional goals - Collaborating with school staff, families, and other professionals to implement individualized education programs (IEPs) - Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school policies and state regulations - Supporting adaptive equipment recommendations and modifications to optimize student participation and independence Desired qualifications: - Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings - Expertise working with children and young adults who have multiple disabilities and neurological conditions - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams - Ability to adapt therapy techniques to suit a wide range of individual needs Benefits of this contract include structured hours within a supportive educational environment, providing a valuable opportunity to impact student outcomes positively.
