LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel MUST HAVE NY LICENSE IN HAND - NO EXCEPTIONS Specialty: MS/Tele RN Shift: 3x12 Nights Weekend: Every other weekend Holidays: Must be available for some holidays First Time travelers: Accepted Locals Accepted: No, must be more than 75 mile radius Cert: ACLS/BLS Required Charting: EPIC experience required Need to be able to take a 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for MedSurg 26 beds. Cares primarily for CHF patients, acute MI's, post device care (pacemakers) and patients with arrhythmias. Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams IV therapy/Phlebotomy:Peripheral Line Care/Management Respiratory: Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions Years of Experience: 1 year FLOATING IS REQUIRED.
