Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/10/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Must have New York license in hand - no exceptions • Must be more than 75 mile radius from facility • 2 years of nursing experience required • Previous charge experience required • Must handle 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratios for Med Surg • Float required to other units as needed • Every other weekend (EOW) coverage required • Must be proficient in EPIC charting system • Required certification: BLS • Dress code: navy scrubs on bottom, navy or white on top • Care for complex medicine patients, ortho overflow, and complex long-term patients • Skills include telemetry monitoring, rapid response/code teams, pacemaker management, feeding tube care, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, IV management, PICC line care, heparin protocols, ortho trauma care, total joint replacements, surgical drains, high flow nasal cannula, tracheostomy management, isolation precautions, and wound care/wound vac • Complete pre-start modules (up to 5 billable hours) • Work in complex care unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities Facility: This tertiary care hospital features 528 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services to the community.
