Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work in a 14-bed overflow unit accommodating emergency department boarder patients • Flex space within GI Endoscopy area with patient census varying based on demand • Patient ratios: 5:1 during days, 7:1 during nights • Care for adult and geriatric patients • Every other weekend coverage required with 4 weekend shifts per contract • Floating to other units required • 12 hours of orientation provided • 1 year of nursing experience required • Previous charge experience preferred • EPIC charting system experience is a hard requirement • NY license must be in hand to submit • First-time travelers accepted • Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS • Required skills: Med/Surg telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula and oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions • Must be competent in IV placement • Dress code: Navy blue and white scrubs • Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours) Facility: This healthcare facility operates a specialized overflow unit designed to accommodate emergency department boarder patients in a medical/surgical telemetry setting.
