Avani Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU -
Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New
York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive
Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13
weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment
Type: Travel *Requirements: *NY state license required *Night
Shifts/7pm-7am/12 hours shift/3 shifts per week, EOW *Locals are
not allowed/travelers must be greater than 75 miles away from the
facility *Must have one year of experience required in RN-PCU, EPIC
experience required *Telemetry and Stepdown-level care
(PCU/DOU/IMC) *Cardiac monitoring and emergency response;
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; Use of Rapid
Response/Code teams *Nasal cannula; Oxygen administration;
Non-invasive airway management *Manage cardiac drips (no
titration); Blood product administration *central line
care/management; Peripheral line care/management *IV
therapy/phlebotomy; Isolation precautions *BLS, ACLS & NIHSS
