Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/10/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, flexible, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse – New York Start Date: February 10, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3x12 rotating days/nights, every other weekend required, some holiday availability required Highlights: - 26-bed cardiac-focused unit caring for CHF patients, acute MIs, post-device care (pacemakers), and arrhythmia patients - Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7 in a supportive tertiary care hospital with 528 staffed beds - EPIC charting system utilized throughout the facility - Hands-on experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and rapid response/code teams - Opportunities for professional growth through IV therapy, phlebotomy, respiratory care, and wound care/wound vac experience - Floating to other units required as part of the role Requirements: - Active New York RN license in hand prior to submission (no exceptions) - ACLS and BLS certifications required - Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience - EPIC charting experience required - Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility - First-time travelers accepted Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a specialized cardiac telemetry environment within a well-established tertiary care hospital.
