ER RN Job Details – Rochester, NY - Location: Rochester, NY 14642 (Upstate New York healthcare jobs) - Facility: Adult Emergency Department, Level I Trauma Center - Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Start Date: January 5, 2026 - End Date: April 4, 2026 - Contract Duration: 13 weeks - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2200 - $2260 - Shifts per week: 3 (12-hour shifts) - Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights) - Schedule: Includes floating, weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge nurse responsibilities as needed - Number of Openings: 3 ER RN positions ER Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in New York State - Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience - Previous travel ER RN experience required - Telemetry nursing experience required - BLS certification (American Heart Association) - ACLS certification (American Heart Association) - NIHSS certification preferred Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities - Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced ED environment - Respond to trauma and acute medical emergencies as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team - Assist with boarder patients and adapt to rapidly changing clinical situations - Float to other hospital units and work weekends, holidays, and on-call/callback/charge nurse shifts as needed - Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures - Demonstrate advanced clinical skills in telemetry and emergency care Note: January start dates only.
