Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department License: RN License (New York Only) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association Only), ACLS (American Heart Association Only) Must-Have: Two years of Emergency Department experience and telemetry experience Description: This is a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department. The facility manages more than 100,000 visits a year. It is one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. The department is responsible for treating a diverse patient population. The role includes assisting with border patients. The department is not able to support first-time travelers. Candidates must possess a New York RN license. BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required. Telemetry experience is a necessary qualification. Candidates must have previous travel Emergency Room experience. The Emergency Department operates with rotating day, evening, and night shifts.
