Job Description Job Description Self-Direction DSP - Brewerton Area (Job JO-SW) You can make a difference in the life of someone special! We are looking for an young, engaging, and creative staff (1:1 support) to work with a young man with a developmental disability who is located in the city of Brewerton, NY. In this critical role, you will provide support to the person while completing tasks and goals such as teaching safety skills, social skills, independent living skills, and accessing the community. The ideal candidate will have effective communication, be compassionate, and must be reliable. Experience is preferred, but not necessary for the right candidate! Candidate must also be okay with cats. Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 5pm, Weekends Pay rate: $20/hour starting, additionally $.70 per mile for transportation reimbursement Location: Brewerton, NY Reliable transportation is required. Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by non-profit agency.
