As an Associate RP Technician in our Engineering & Maintenance team, you will apply your expertise in radiation protection and safety protocols to ensure compliance and operational excellence in our energy generation environments. This role calls for meticulous attention to safety, keen problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to sustainable energy practices. Monitor and maintain radiation protection standards to ensure safe work environments across all company sites. Conduct regular radiation surveys and safety audits. Implement radiation safety measures and protocols. Train and guide team members on radiation safety procedures. Maintain records of radiation exposure and safety inspections. Respond swiftly to radiation emergencies or incidents. Collaborate with environmental health & safety teams to align with federal and state regulations. Proficiency with radiation monitoring instruments and techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and training skills. Ability to interpret and implement safety regulations and standards.
