PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As Sales Support Specialist, you will become the first line of contact for our external sales team as well as channel partners in a variety of tasks. No two days are identical, but your core responsibilities will be the administrative tasks, phone and email correspondence, and documentation. In addition, you may be called upon to perform other tasks that provide a full 360? customer support experience, that has led to SPX Flow becoming an industry leader in industrial mixing. The training and knowledge base associated with this role will be provided to the candidate that can demonstrate the ambition that will be needed in order to excel in this position. The ability to think on the fly, adapt to change and prioritize tasks in an ever changing environment will separate the elite performer from the traditional support staff. A typical workday will run from 9 AM to 5 PM. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES * Ability to organize and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency. * Highly detail oriented. * Ability to solve both straight forward and complex problems. * Excellent interpersonal communication skills ? verbal and written. * Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, SAP (or similar operating platform), Excel, Word, and PDF editors. * Ability to work as part of a team. * A strong work ethic and ambition to succeed. * Ability to work effectively and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment while under pressure. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Required: * Excellent communication skills at a high level ? verbal and written. * Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products ? specifically Outlook and Excel. * Proven attention to detail. * High level of professionalism. * The ability to answer calls, draft emails and input data into systems. * Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a lot going on. Desired: * A bachelor's degree preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. * Frequently required to stand and walk. * Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus. WORKING CONDITIONS Shop conditions at the Rochester, NY site are in line with SPX Flow EHS regulations and country legislative safety requirements with regards to safe walkways, shelving and general working areas. Cleanliness is of paramount importance to SPX Flow however from time to time, dust and general packing materials may accumulate. Noise can often be at levels that require hearing protection due to vehicle movements and general day to day activities in the nearby workshop. All PPE is provided for by the company.
