We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Print Systems
Division in Rochester, NY.

talented Electrical Engineer to join our team.
To accomplish the EPS mission the business needs to fill a critical
technical skill gap. To support the complexity of the current of
the NexPress product the team needs to have the skills of an
electrical engineer to drive new products and product enhancements
into the worldwide market. Our business has sales in over 30
countries on every content other than Antarctica. The vast number
of different types of press shops and applications will fill every
day with new and interesting challenges. The Electrical Engineer
will fill a critical skill within EPS business

- Electrical engineering of all aspects of commercial
- Directly responsible for electrical analysis, design,
implementation, and verification of Electrophotographic commercial
printers that consists of electrical hardware, motion control, high
voltage charging system design. Ensure electrical design and
documentation complies with all appropriate standards including
EMC/EMI. Create documentation adhering to quality procedures,
regulations, standards and industry best practices. Execute unit
and integration test plans and work with other engineers to insure
product functionality. Identify and retire technical risk. Work
effectively in cross-functional teams consisting of Research,
Engineering and Support. Contribute to patent analysis and
invention creations. Define and author system level specifications.
Generate electrical system power and drive analyses. Complete
component de-rating analyses. Create electrical schematics and bill
of materials. Develop system level tests and test procedures to
ensure that the product meets electrical and engineering
- Agency compliance:
- Remain knowledgeable on current and future applicable Safety
and Regulatory compliance requirements applicable to Kodak print
system systems, components and accessories. Determine and integrate
compliance requirements, processes, and practices into the
development, design, manufacturing, and continuous improvement of
products or solutions. Give guidance to others on design for
compliance during product development. Support ongoing compliance
for released product as regulations and requirements change.
Maintains and/or guides others on maintaining compliance databases
and other tools for tracking compliance. Analyzes and reviews new
product and solution designs and specifications for potential
compliance issues; provides tangible feedback and proposes changes
to improve product quality and minimize risk of non-compliance.
Reviews reports, test data, and process results for assigned
components and subsystems to identify issues, performs analysis,
and develop recommendations for resolution
- Experience with electrical engineering for electrophotographic
- Experience with the engineering and commercialization of
precision motion control systems.
- Experience as an agency compliance engineer.
- Self-learning in complex systems.
- BEE or MSEE degree.
- Team player and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of initiative with ability to self-manage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both
independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
