Title: Electrical Mechanical Technician -
Training on 1 st shift, then move to 2 nd shift (3pm to 11pm) or 3rd Shift (11pm to 7am) -
As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for s upport ing the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility. --- The ideal candidate m ust be able to conduct, maintain , test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. ---Must be able to apply knowledge of electrical/mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restore in all areas of Manufacturing. -
Primary duties include the install, start up and shut down of equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown in line with OSHA requirements; inform appropriate management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved and maintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment. ---The job also includes performing preventative maintenance functions as directed, assisting maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting, and performing other duties as required . The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong desire to learn the maintenance of complex machinery, and have a desire to advance within the company. -
Electrical License required.
Previous electrical maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing setting
Military training and/or technical school preferred
Computer experience/operation and PLC Programming
Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as required
Ability to maintain various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, and perform other duties as assigned.
A thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes
