Overview









As an Inventory Manager you will ensure the success of the inventory operations by coordinating the receiving, shipping, and material handling responsibilities in the warehouse and showroom. You will develop/maintain efficient inventory management systems, improve operations, and support Sales while providing 100% customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for the organization.Pay Range: $75,000-$90,000 depending on experience.     Responsibilities









  • Forecast and maintain proper inventory levels across the organization, taking into account the seasonality of the business.
  • Establish, maintain and uphold inventory policies and practices.
  • Maintain processes for receiving product, inventory management, and shipping.
  • Plan and conduct full inventory count at least once per year.
  • Develop a team and foster a successful team environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Inventory Team as well as teams across the organization.
  • Maintain quality standards of products.
  • Coordinate and ensure accurate transfers between locations.
  • Coordinate effectively with dispatch department to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Deliver on change from leadership while driving business and minimizing employee/customer impact.
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team in solving operational issues.
  • Utilize warehouse scanner technology to execute updates while maintaining accurate cycle counts.
  • Troubleshoot all receiving and shipping issues to find the cause, help resolve the issue, and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.













    Qualifications









    To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.
    • 5+ years of operations/logistics or supply chain/warehouse experience preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
    • Forklift/Picker Machine experience required.
    • Demonstrate the ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment.
    • Must possess excellent customer service skills, position frequently interacts with external and internal customers.
    • Proficient with Computer programs such as Email, Word, Excel.
    • Must be able to meet the physicality of the environment. Sitting, standing, lifting, pushing, etc. Should be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
