Nesco Resource is currently seeking multiple Lab Technicians, on the B Shift, to assist one of our top optical manufacturing clients in Rochester, NY! Our client is expanding their facility and is looking to hire quickly!

Schedule: B Shift M-F 2:30pm-11pm
Pay: $19-$21/hr plus $1/hr shift differential -

Job Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Receive and prepare orders for processing
  
• Prepare optical components to fulfill client orders
  
• Perform quarterly inventory cycle counts
  
• Polish, wash and prepare lenses for next manufacturing phase
  
• Utilize tools to mount finished product
  
• Utilize lensometer and conduct quality visual checks against requirements to ensure quality output
  
• Able to interpret work order requests and handle repetitive tasks while maintaining consistency
  
  Job Qualifications:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite Software
    
  • Ability to learn industry software
    
  • Prior experience with using tools such as; lensometers, desired
    
  • 1 or more years of prior experience with optical coating, required
    
  • Prior clean room environment experience, desired
    
  • H.S. Diploma, required
    
  • Prior experience conducting quality assurance checks and documentation, desired
