We are currently looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to work on the third shift. In this role, you will ensure an effective working environment but performing maintenance on all machines and equipment throughout the plant.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Proactively uses mechanical, electrical, and effective communication skills for the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of machinery & equipment
Performs planned machinery & equipment maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and productive operation
Troubleshoots problems/failures of automated machinery & equipment and initiates the repair
Communicates progress/status of maintenance & reliability activities to Maintenance Supervisor regularly
Conducts machine change-overs and replaces tooling as needed to support Machine Set-Up Personnel
Uses powered hand tools, precision measuring devices, non-CNC machining, and welding equipment (under qualified supervision) to fabricate parts for the maintenance & reliability of machinery & equipment
Executes plant changeover to generator power in emergency situations
Rigging and moving of machinery as needed
Performs building and grounds maintenance & reliability activities as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and operation of automated equipment required
Effective communication skills required
Forklift and scissor lift certifications required
Welding and machinery experience a plus
At least 3 years of manufacturing industry experience preferred%12861215% %%install%%
