Job Description:

Responsible for packaging parts utilizing the digital scale provided. All parts must be packaged in a manner where the product will not become damaged or lost in transit from shipping to customers or suppliers. The employee will be guided through the utilization of Epicor and or process instructions to determine where parts/product is to be sent too. (Customer/subcontractors)

Responsible for wrapping and banding skids accordingly to ensure the product reaches its destination safely. Label each box for proper identification of the product being shipped.

Responsible to operate lift truck/pallet jack to move, and hoist shipments from the shipping /receiving platform to correct location within department. Will also need to load and unload product safely onto and off of carrier's transportation.

Will be knowledgeable on how to check incoming product from other suppliers (Secondary). Will be trained on use of measuring equipment listed in the process instructions, and subcontractor specific plating/heat treat standards. (i.e. blistering, HT scale, flaking, rust etc.)

Responsible when needed to make local deliveries and pick-ups from local vendors.

Helps with any and all paperwork for scheduling of shipments.

Responsible for contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Daily Duties:

• 
  
• Counts and logs all production parts into Epicor.
  
• Packages all production parts into boxes and tags all production with correct information pertaining to part/parts.
  
• Places all counted production parts in designated area. (Finished or secondary)
  
• Loads and unloads incoming and outgoing pallets of parts.
  
• Maintains and helps with sorting equipment.
  
• Maintains and helps with passivation process to ASTM A967 standard.
  
  
  
  
• Responsible for maintaining and maintenance of the passivation unit.
  
• Responsible for logging of all product into correct passivation log.

  • Maintains and helps with Durr cleaning system
    
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment. (Housekeeping)
    
  • Inspection of secondary product when needed.
