Under general direction of the assigned Enterprise Legal & Supplier Solutions (EL&SS) management, the Reporting and Data Analyst works with internal partners and stakeholders from all business units to define and document business processes and reporting requirements for the organization. The incumbent evaluates and validates new and existing reporting functions, creates new reporting dashboards/tools to help share analytics around the business areas progress, and provides support through standardized processes, tools, workflow analysis, and testing, to ensure end-user requirements are fulfilled.Essential Accountabilities: -Level I--- Collaborates with EL&SS team members and various stakeholders, including subject matter experts, executives, operational users, and technical staff to analyze, elicit, and document requirements associated with defined scope and objectives for reporting/analytic solutions.--- Utilizes structured analysis and data management techniques to define accurate test cases and ensure deliverables are achieved.--- Creates and maintains all EL&SS reporting, dashboards, etc. in Workday and Prism and works cross-functionally with HR and Finance reporting partners as necessary to understand impacts of any potential changes. This reporting includes metrics related to suppliers, supplier spend, business area performance and metrics, etc. Builds various macros, reports, and consolidated dashboards to be used internally by EL&SS and EHP senior leadership.--- Develops and analyzes functional and non-functional requirements for reporting/analytic solutions with stakeholders and internal Health Plan standards to ensure business needs are well understood, clearly defined, and properly aligned with the overall project scope. ---- Elicits requirements by interviewing stakeholders, reviewing existing business documentation, and disassembling and outlining existing processes and technologies through data models and diagrams. Processes may include data analysis to propose requirements.--- Identifies and resolves conflicting perspectives of various stakeholders and changes to scope and resulting possible impacts to requirements, other solutions, and stakeholders.--- Communicates with stakeholders at various levels of the organization. Responds to questions regarding requirements, functionality, and data to clarify vision of reporting/analytic solutions. Identifies gaps or underlying issues through analysis of requirements to identify risks. Discusses potential resolutions and provides options to EL&SS team and stakeholders.--- Maintains detailed documentation outlining all processes, workflows, project plans, data dictionaries and maps, etc. Ensures documentation is regularly updated and available to Supplier Solutions team and division's senior leadership.--- Keeps abreast of latest trends related to business analysis.--- Consistently demonstrates high standards of integrity by supporting the Lifetime Healthcare Companies' mission and values, adhering to the Corporate Code of Conduct, and leading to the Lifetime Way values and beliefs.--- Maintains high regard for member privacy in accordance with the corporate privacy policies and procedures.--- Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required.--- Performs other functions as assigned by management.Level II (in addition to Level I Accountabilities)--- Leads development of complex projects, reporting analysis, process improvements and system improvements.--- Analyzes proposed enhancements to solutions and provides written recommendation on feasibility of incorporating or enhancing technology solutions based on impacts to other stakeholders and technology solutions.--- Drives the interpretation of business objectives and system scope from the stakeholders to the developers.--- Helps identify and propose enhancements to solutions, reports, data collection, dashboards, workflows, and processes. Recommends improvements to processes or technical solutions to resolve gaps or underlying issues. Prepares written plans and recommendation for implementing enhancements. ---- Compiles metrics and reports on progress for leadership team and fields questions from leadership as it relates to reporting and data collection requests.--- Keeps informed of latest trends related to business analysis and related technology. Provides thought leadership on business analysis approaches and provides mentoring to junior staff. ---- Prepares status reports on the overall reporting, process improvements, workflows and data collection efforts for the division.Minimum Qualifications: -NOTE: We include multiple levels of classification differentiated by demonstrated knowledge, skills, and the ability to manage increasingly independent and/or complex assignments, broader responsibility, additional decision making, and in some cases, becoming a resource to others. In addition to using this differentiated approach to place new hires, it also provides guideposts for employee development and promotional opportunities.All Levels--- Seven years of experience in an analytical or similar role, or Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or relevant field with one or more years of related experience. Experience as a financial, data or reporting analyst preferred.--- Proficient computer skills in programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.--- Experience with Business Analytics tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, Workday Prism or other similar tools.--- Experience with structured analysis and design and data gathering techniques preferred.--- Excellent analytical aptitude.--- Visual Basic or other similar programming knowledge or exposure desirable.--- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage rapidly changing information. ---- Demonstrated interviewing skills; ability to speak with individuals and groups at all levels to elicit essential requirements information.--- Ability to influence and negotiate. ---- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including meeting facilitation skills.Level II (in addition to Level I Qualifications)--- Proven analytical and reporting skills including business analysis experience with elicitation, scope definition, document creation, and collaboration with business and technical staff. ---- Proficiency with Business Analytics tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, Workday Prism or other similar tools.--- Excellent understanding of and demonstrated ability in data analytics, project management, data collection, and reporting metrics.--- Modeling skills, to represent requirements information in graphical forms that augment textual representations in natural language, including using modeling languages already established in the development organization.--- Strong business end-to-end process focus, analysis, and redesign capability.--- Excellent planning and organizational skills.Physical Requirements:--- Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation viewing a computer and using a keyboard, mouse and/or phone for three (3) or more hours at a time.--- Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or trainings as needed.************One Mission.
