-M/E Engineering is currently interviewing for a Paid Internship for an -Electrical Co-op/CAD Operator position in our Rochester, NY Office pursuing an Electrical -Engineering Degree. -This position is for a double block -in the year 2023 for -01/2023 -through 08/2023. -M/E Engineering, P.C. is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.M/E Engineering is not able to sponsor H1B Candidates at this time. Responsibilities

Performs assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities requiring application of standard techniques, and procedures in carrying out computer aided design (CAD) tasks.Works under direct supervision of CAD Operator, Designer or Engineer.Supervisor screens assignments for unusual or difficult problems and selects techniques and procedures to be applied on non-routine work.Receives close supervision on new aspects of assignments.Receives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features and solutions.Performs conventional designs, investigations, and surveys for which there are standard procedures.Preparation of sketches and other activities of standard procedures and limited scope requiring knowledge of principles and techniques commonly employed.Applies standard practices and techniques, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies and follows design through a series of related steps.Prepare drawings, locate outlets and devices following detailed layouts, routine drawings.Prepare drawings from architectural plans.Copy details.Input mechanical and/or electrical work from freehand sketches.File blueprints, catalogs, etc.Education and Experience

A minimum of High School or Technical School TrainingM/E Engineering is not able to sponsor H1B Candidates at this time.
