Material Handler

FULL-TIME

$19/hr

The primary function of the Material Handler is to move raw materials to supply all areas of the plant machine operations and return unused materials back into inventory for ADFORS Albion, NY facility. This position supplies production lines with all needed materials in Laid Scrim, Knit/Coat/Glue and Converting. All new production must be packaged, entered in IMT systems using methods including RF scanners and placed in proper place in the warehouse.
The incumbent may also be responsible for the pick and pack of customer orders shipping directly from the Albion, NY facility. In this capacity, the role will also be responsible for aiding existing Material Handlers in moving raw materials to supply all areas of the plant machine operations and return unused materials back into inventory. Material handling support will include any of the following areas; Laid Scrim, Knit/Coat/Glue, Converting and shuttles from/to the offsite warehouse. This position will additionally be responsible for cycle counting assigned as necessary by the Warehouse Supervisor and ensuring inventory integrity is maintained throughout all material movements. Schedule

Shift start: 5:00PM
Shift length: 12 hours
3-4 days a week based on schedule and rotates each week. Every other weekend is a 3 days weekend. Shift is 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, etc.
