Job Description:

Lexington Machining is looking to hire an experienced Quality Technician. Company offers competitive wages, medical coverage, and matching 401k program. Manufacturing and quality areas are fully air conditioned. Openings currently available on 1st shift (Monday - Friday) and 2nd shift (Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:30am plus shift differential pay added to base).

Salary: Pay rate is based on experience

Education: High School Diploma/GED Required

QC Inspector Responsibilities Include

• Performs incoming, first article, in-process and finished inspections
• Prepare and process non-conforming material reports on discrepant material
• Perform audits at the manufacturing process
• Operate CMM Zeiss Calypso
• Participate in the calibration program
• QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years of machined component inspection experience
• Experience inspecting tight tolerance and high precision parts
• Ability to interpret Engineering Blueprints and Specifications
• Ability to understand and follow Quality Control Specifications
• Ability to use the following instruments: Optical Comparator, micrometers, profilometer, Drop Indicators, Pin Gages, Thread Gages.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Certified Internal Auditor on ISO / IATF is a plus
• Operate or program CMM Zeiss Calypso is a plus
• Experience and good skills with SPC is very beneficial
