continue reading about the opportunity of Concierge, Part Time at
the Home. This is a part time position working less than 22 hours
per week. Schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 4:30 - 8:00 pm and
Sunday from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm. Purpose: Receive visitors, business
contacts, elders and staff, ascertain their needs and direct
accordingly. Process all incoming phone calls utilizing the main
console. Create a warm, welcoming environment in the lobby area.
Provide high quality service in a collaborative team effort that is
elder-focused and supports the Eden philosophy. Qualifications: One
to three years' experience in receptions, customer relations,
direct customer service or other related fields. Competence with
telephone console, computer operation including Microsoft Office,
keyboard and typing skills. Willingness to work collaboratively.
Values and enjoys elders. Possesses and exhibits kindness,
excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. High school
graduate or equivalent. Certification or formal training in
customer service, customer relations and telephone etiquette is
preferred. Responsibilities Receives all persons who enter the
campus in a courteous manner, informs, guides, directs or otherwise
assists elders, visitors, staff, or vendors respectfully and
congenially to present the best possible image of the community.
Answers incoming telephone calls and redirects to appropriate
parties, answers questions promptly and courteously. Engages in
conversation with elders, families, staff and assists in answering
questions. Interacts with all staff in a manner that is respectful
and collaborative. Maintains work station and equipment in a safe
and organized manner. Maintains lobby area and beverage station.
Assists visitors, volunteers and elders with wheelchairs and carts
when needed, and maintain sign-out log. Support Admissions
department to better assist incoming families Performs specific
work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. Sort
incoming elder/staff mail for the Business Office Book Lift Rides.
