Volt is immediately hiring for a MRI Technologist in Syracuse NY.

As a MRI Technologist you will:
Perform MRI scans following established protocols
Prepare patients by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety
Position patients for high-quality imaging
Adjust MRI machine settings for clear images
Maintain detailed and confidential patient records
Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive care
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Conduct quality assurance procedures and implement improvements
Operate power injectors for contrast media
Start IVs and administer contrast media as directed
Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and label appropriately
Coordinate scheduling and patient flow
Address the psychological and physical needs of patients during procedures

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity. Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm and 10:30am to 7:00pm

The ideal candidate will have:
Clinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years MRI clinical experience required.
Valid ARRT license, registered in MRI.
Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.

Salary: $38.00 to $50.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
