Nesco Resource is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented
Quality Inspector. The Quality Inspector will play a critical role
in ensuring the precision and quality of our manufactured parts by
using standard measuring equipment to conduct inspections during
various stages of production and final inspection. The ideal
candidate will have a strong understanding of precision measurement
techniques and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality
- Utilize standard measuring equipment such as calipers,
micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, and CMMs to
inspect parts at different stages of the manufacturing
- Conduct thorough inspections to verify dimensions, tolerances,
and overall product quality according to engineering drawings and
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure that parts meet
required standards before proceeding to the next production
- Conduct final inspections on completed parts to ensure they
meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed
records of inspection reports and findings.
- Communicate and collaborate with production teams, machinists,
and engineers to address and resolve quality-related issues.
- Identify non-conforming parts and initiate appropriate actions,
such as tagging, reporting, and rework instructions.
- Collaborate in the calibration and maintenance of measuring
equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance
quality control processes and overall efficiency.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving manufacturing
processes to reduce defects and improve overall quality.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and
company policies. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in
quality assurance or related field are preferred.
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role in a
precision manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using standard measuring equipment and
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, technical
specifications, and tolerances.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving
- Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
(GD&T) is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various
departments and convey inspection results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards or similar quality
