This person will contribute, as a Specialist Electrical
Engineering, to the company's success by working with Hardware
design engineering teams to support design, development, and
troubleshooting of L3Harris Radio products.Essential
Responsibilities: --- Design or update designs of PWBs, flexes,
cables, and fixtures.--- Work with design verification test
engineers and technicians to verify successful designs.--- Work
with test engineering, product support engineering, and quality
engineering to ensure successful product introduction and at times
to help manufacturing meet their requirements.--- Develop and/or
perform engineering tests to collect design data to assist in the
development of products.--- Performs troubleshooting of RF, analog
and digital circuits from unit level down to the component
level.--- Candidate must be able to work under general supervision.
May be responsible for entire projects or processes within job
area. May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching and
training to other employees within job area. --- Strong working
knowledge of Analog and Digital test equipment, such as Spectrum
and Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Signal Generators---
Ability to troubleshoot products at both unit and component
levels--- Develop LabView scripts to speed testing of engineering
prototype PWAs.--- Experience with ADS and HyperLynx tools.---
Ability to generate and analyze test data to determine areas that
need improvement and to track progress.Basic Qualifications:---
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior related experience
or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree and a minimum of 8
years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of
2 years of prior related experience.
