Job Description:
The Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for providing end
user support for hardware, software, and network assistance.Pay
Rate: $20-$24/hr.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Troubleshoot and resolve trouble tickets related to technical
difficulties with hardware, software, & triage trouble tickets
- Install and configure complex hardware/software and provide
support for upgrades and enhancements
- Hardware image configuration management for desktop, and
laptops
- Verify issue resolution with the customer and update the help
desk ticketing system
- Communicate plans and progression of issue resolution in a
timely manner
- Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement
- Configure, install, and support desktop hardware, and
software
- Document fixes and contribute to the standardization of
processes and procedureREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate degree, or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience supporting Dell desktops and laptops
- Experience Imaging laptops using already created images on a
USB drive
- Hands on experience with Active Directory, setting up new users
on Office365 and troubleshooting MS Outlook issues
- Solid knowledge of Windows 10 environments Nesco Resource and
