SUMMARY As a Nurse (LPN) in Hemodialysis, your specialized skill set and ability to collaborate with the Registered Nurse is vital to exceptional patient care.STATUS: Full TimeLOCATION: St Mary's CampusDEPARTMENT: DialysisSCHEDULE: 12 hour shifts Day and Evenings with 2 Saturday a month commitmentATTRIBUTES

  • Patient Care & Evaluation. Conduct a thorough assessment of each patient's medical status upon admission and throughout the patient's course of treatment; provide regular patient status updates
  • Treatment Administration. Assist in the implementation of the patient's treatment plan under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN); initiate and discontinue dialysis treatments using multiple access sites; administer IVP medications to dialysis patients
  • Documentation. Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely mannerNurse, in accordance with established plans.Key Responsibilities: -The LPN working in Hemodialysis responsibilities include application/mastery of skills in area of specialization, guidance and general oversight to less experienced employees; may train new employees. -The duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity. -Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex issues, patient cases or technical skills.---Conducts and documents a thorough assessment of each patient's medical status upon admission and throughout the patient's course of treatment.---Assists in the implementation of the patient's treatment plan under the direction of the RN.
