The Arc Allegany-Steuben is a not-for-profit organization that

Under the direction of the Residence Manager, Relief
Coordinator, Associate Director of Community Supports, or Program
Coordinator II this position is responsible for maintaining an
environment in the program which encourages and facilitates optimal
personal development and provides person directed services and
ensures the health and safety of the people served.
You will provide services to individuals as planned in their
Life Plan, which includes the person's individual Protective
Oversight Plan (IPOP), Residential Staff Action Plan, Support
Plans, Day Habilitation Plans, Community Habilitation Plans, Staff
Action Plans, and other safeguards, and ensure all related
documentation is completed. You will act as an advocate for people
receiving support from the agency, support individuals so they may
be included and participate in their community, and work
collaboratively with others to ensure individuals' health and
wellbeing is respected.

Flexible dependent on the needs of the program. Will discuss during
- High School diploma, GED, or an acceptable TABE test score is
- CPR/First Aid/AED and SCIP Certification within the first six
months of hire.
- Medication Administration Certification for Residential and
site-based program, as required.
- Non-site-based programs require one year of experience working
with people with developmental disabilities or an Associate's
degree in Human Services or related field.
- Where position requires driving:
- Valid driver's license for the state in which the person
Acceptable safe driving record
- Where position requires driving individuals served by the
Motor vehicle with up-to-date inspection, that is registered and
- Will be required to enroll in LENS (Licensed Event Notification
