Job Description:


The Process Specialist/ AQL Inspector will support packaging of aseptic products. This includes performing quality attribute (AQL) inspection and completing investigations in a timely manner, implementing effective Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA's) and updating batch records and procedures.


  • Packaging floor support & performing AQL inspection

  • Leading packaging investigations

  • Troubleshooting equipment and processes

  • Writing / updating procedures and batch records

  • Implementing CAPA's

  • Processing change controls

  • Capital project support


  • Attention to detail

  • A Bachelor's degree in science or engineering.

  • 2-4 years of experience with packaging equipment in Pharmaceutical industry

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Correctable 20/20 vision

  • No color blindness

  • Must NOT be allergic to penicillin


  • Experience conducting investigations, determining root-causes and developing solid corrective actions.


  • Expected to spend majority of time on the shop floor interacting with packaging colleagues and front-line leaders.

  • Although this is a first-shift position, the selected candidate will be required to work occasional evening/weekend/alternative shifts to support packaging.

  • This is a penicillin manufacturing facility. Any candidates applying must NOT be allergic to penicillin


  • The selected candidate will be on-site at the Rochester, MI Manufacturing facility
