Looking for SW engineer that has knowledge of SW design,
implementation and productizing SW projects (i.e. dotnet, C#, C++,
java, python, etc. etc.); if it was a college grad type of person,
I would say Computer Science or Computer Engineer with SW design
knowledge, but with working experience.
As for LabVIEW, my thoughts are, a good SW experienced person
can pickup LabVIEW (it's just another programming language, but
more of a GUI type of environment). So, it's a strong plus but not
required. The requirement is for this person to work with LabVIEW
as our deliver, but with an expectation they can help us integrate
and moving outside of LabVIEW environment (with object oriented
SW person that has the experience with test and system
