Job Description:

The Senior Media Analyst should have an expert understanding of social and digital media and have experience leveraging various ad types, objectives, and running tests to drive results. The Senior Media Analyst is tasked with developing both the Junior and Media Analyst by way of training, delegation of workload, and overall client communication.

  • Own setup, troubleshooting, and end-to-end execution of successful advertising campaigns for a variety of clients across various social platforms through the Brand Networks platform
  • Test and analyze key metrics to optimize performance and meet business objectives
  • Become a Brand Networks product advocate and expert on the platform amongst Media Services and other revenue teams
  • Provide continuous optimization of campaigns to exceed client expectations
  • Communicate with internal teams regarding campaign delivery data pertinent to client and business goals
  • Creatively and strategically work to understand our client's marketing needs and how to meet them using the Brand Networks platform and social strategy
  • QA reports & trafficked campaigns, help develop QBR's and other larger client presentations in tandem with managers and directors
  • Establish strong relationships with internal teams and external platform partners
  • Manage communication during all phases of an active campaigns lifecycle
  • Work with media analysts to develop best practices and procedures for building campaigns and reports
  • Actualize spend on a monthly basis and work with the finance team on delivering invoices when needed
  • Mentor and invest in Junior Analyst and Media Analyst to ensure proper onboarding and progression in role
  • Maintain understanding of all social media ad platforms and be able to educate greater media team of important platform capability updates
  • Participate in the training of junior employees
  • Leverage pre-established best practices while implementing campaigns and building reports
  • Contribute new best practices and processes that scale out to your team and department
  • Track individual performance and account/campaign details (budget, pacing against budget, KPI performance, flight dates, campaign notes, etc)
  • Seek feedback from peers and management on ways to improve individual performance and grow overall Brand Networks business

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or equivalent field of study
  • 4-5 years of paid social media buying (i.e. Facebook/Instagram Ads, Pinterest Ads, Snapchat Ads, etc.)
  • Experience working in a media planning or buying position at an advertising or media agency preferred
  • Excel skills: comfort with pivot tables is a must
  • Experience in working with large datasets and performing quantitative analysis to derive insights for customers
  • Demonstrated critical thinking ability
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with an ever-changing environment
  • Energetic, drive to succeed, team player
