Accounts Payable / Billing in Canandaigua, NY--The Accounts Payable Representative will support accounts payable and billing functions, along with various recordkeeping and data entry support. This is a 6 month temporary position. Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM (some flexibility), wage is $15 per hour. This position is currently REMOTE, but has the potential to go back into the office at the end of the summer.--Responsibilities

• Working in multiple accounting systems
• Processes invoices for multiple companies
• Corporate Accounts Payable functions
• Reconciling various accounts
• Work with high volume accounts
• Posts information to accounting ledgers (i.e. payables, general ledger)
• Works with procurement and maintains the purchase order system
• Performs various clerical duties (e.g., make copies, file documents)
• Exporting with Excel, along with VLOOKUP
• Performs a variety of routine and non-routine accounting activities in accounts payable--Minimum Qualifications
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures specific to accounts payable
  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting department focused on accounts payable (retail okay)
  • Must have strong Excel skills and at least an understanding of VLOOKUP
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Strong attention to detail is required
  • Strong computer skills required
  • Strong data entry skills
