NOTES:1. Supplier bill rate range: *** to *** - DO NOT EXCEED2. Use MU rate for Non-cleared Engineering3. US CITIZEN4. Onsite work - 1st shift (7-3:30pm or 8-4:30pm)Quality Inspector will inspect production hardware in accordance with the applicable specifications/ drawing requirements and review supporting assembly instructions. Quality inspector will maintain quality evaluation & control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished hardware on highly complex electronic, mechanical, and electro-optical spaceflight assemblies. Works independently. Proven ability to identify non-conformances and work closely with internal/external customers on defect resolution. Ability to work with cross-functional team of operators, engineers and program management team in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; OR 2 years post-secondary/Associates Degree with 2 years of prior related experience.Basic knowledge of Engineering Drawings.Basic knowledge of measuring devices (Microscopes, Gauges, Calipers, etc.)Preferred Additional Skills:Knowledge of Failure reporting toolExperience with engineering drawing review and interpretationExperience with Root Cause and Correct Action (RCCA) AnalysisFamiliarity with common measuring devicesFamiliarity with AS9100D including experience performing process auditsStrong ability to focus, prioritize, and work with cross functional teamsStrong written and verbal communication skillsBasic knowledge in GD&TAbility to work in a clean room environment for extended timeMicrosoft Office experienceAbility to support travel to suppliers for source inspections -25-50% of timeAbility to work on-call support over multiple shifts, weekends and holidaysAbility to work different shifts on rotational basisAbility to review assembly/ test documentation for appropriate traceability and in accordance with internal company proceduresCertified, or the ability to obtain certification to the above referenced workmanship standardsExperience evaluating complex electronic hardware, under magnification, to IPC-J-STD-001 and/or NASASTD-8739Nesco Resource and affiliates (Lehigh G.I.T Inc, and Callos Resource, LLC) is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics with respect to employment opportunities.SDL2017
