Job Description:

- Licensed Practical Nurse job in Rochester, NY is now available courtesy of Adecco Medical & Science. An Associate's Degree and at least one year of experience in direct patient care is required. This is a full-time position in an acute care environment- excellent hours: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday through Friday.Clinical Responsibilities Include:* Assisting in delivering patient care under the supervision of RNs and/or providers* Explaining procedures and treatments to patients to gain cooperation, understanding and allay apprehension* Observing patient and record significant reactions/conditions. Notify providers of reaction to drugs, treatments* Administer treatments, nursing interventions, injections, immunizations* Providing patient education* Rooming patients including taking vitals and updating patient information, collecting samples from patients such as urine* Performing tests such as EKG as required* Keep exam rooms cleaned between visits and stocked dailyKnowledge Skills and Experience Required:* NYS LPN licensure with current CPR certification* At least one year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse* Ability to demonstrate teamwork and effective interpersonal relations skills is imperative* Excellent written/oral communication and computer skills are required* Prior experience with EMRReply with resume/ email or apply on website: www.adeccousa.com Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
