Premium Pay Community Health LPN job in Rochester, NY is now available courtesy of Adecco Medical&Science. Offering up to $30/hr. for qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to provide clinical services in a community health setting. Opportunity for hire, in a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Great hours for an LPN: Monday-Friday 8:30 to 5:00pm, full time 37.50 hours per week.Under the supervision of the Chief Administrator, the LPN will provide care by assisting with greeting patients, taking vitals, completing accurate patient documentation via computerized charting, as well as duties such as supply ordering, inventory and weekly patient logs.Job Duties include:* Rooming patients, explaining procedures and treatments, and allaying apprehensions* Aiding providers during examinations and treatments* Observing patient and record significant reactions/conditions* Working with the interdisciplinary health care team to facilitate care and keep patients engaged* Demonstrating positive communication and teamwork within clinic and between departments* Administering treatments, nursing interventions, injections, immunizations* Providing patient education on self-injection, medications, treatments or issues related to care* Taking vitals and updating patient information, collecting samples from patients as needed* Performing tests such as EKG as required* Keeping exam rooms cleaned between visits and stocked daily* Documenting patient care clearly, accurately and timelyRequirements:* NYS LPN licensure with current CPR certification* Minimum one year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse* Minimum one year experience working with an Electronic Health Record* Communication, professionalism, stress management and teamwork highly valued For Immediate Consideration:Reply with resume/ email or apply on website: www.adeccousa.com Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
