Job Description:
SUMMARYAs a Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health, your
compassionate, kind and patient focused care greatly aides in the
recovery and management of patients with psychiatric disorders,
medical/psychiatric comorbidities and/or chemical addictions and
life stressors.STATUS: Full Time (36 Hours)LOCATION: Chemical
Dependency - Greece ClinicDEPARTMENT: Chemical Dependency SCHEDULE:
NightsATTRIBUTES* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred* One (1)
year of Registered Nurse experience preferred* Basic life support
skills* Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal
skills* Strong organizational and problem-solving
skillsRESPONSIBILITIES* Assessment. Demonstrate effective
assessment skills that identify common physiological and
psychological needs, perception and expectations of patient in
regards to immediate and long-term care; assess and stabilize
patients suffering from alcohol/drug withdrawal; educate and
instruct patients both individually and as a group* Patient
Management. Demonstrate clinical knowledge, common sense and good
judgment; identify and problem solve in areas of patient care; safe
and knowledgeable use of equipment; show flexibility and adjust
well to changing situations; manage medical cases and communicate
with referral sources; report any changes in patient condition or
problems* Documentation. Document data in the medical record and
