Our Exciting Work Environment This position will be based out of Delaware North's new global headquarters, a state-of-the-art, 12-story, mixed-use building in downtown Buffalo, N.Y. The headquarters facility, reflective of our values, integrates the latest advances in environmental, energy conservation and office design. The Opportunity System Administrator acts as a lead in the execution of Delaware North's project management software and tracking tools. Identifies, deploys, and maintains the tasks, tools and processes to support project managers and delivery teams to drive efficiencies in the Capital Planning processes and procedures. The Administrator serves as a single point of contact to multiple delivery teams and is responsible for identifying tools and integrating processes, providing project start-up and ongoing support, targeted training and driving efficiencies across disciplines, such as Design and Construction project manager, subsidiary guest and full users, third party vendor and industry experts. Responsibilities include: Identify areas of need and develop process improvements, including maintenance of existing systems. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the businesses and their functions, processes, operations, customers, and competitive environment. Execute at a professional level of communication and cooperation. Monitor all system processes necessary to support business lines and take actions to resolve problems accordingly. Provide initial and ongoing training and technical guidance to users both internal and external both in person and web conferences. Builds and maintains the system platform for effective use. Responsible for own work and contributing to the team, department and/or business. May direct work of non-management staff. Act as project leader in the execution of projects that solely impact process systems. Conduct a review of system capabilities, identification on new and existing risks, support for file transfers and uploads, operational procedures, and forms. Ensure that all administered systems meet audit, compliance and regulatory requirements. Responsible for all user review audits. Adhere to all current standards and procedures and ensures all efforts are properly documented. Conduct follow up on production incidents until brought to conclusion. Update procedures as necessary. Monitor systems as required and work to ensure overall system integrity. Generate and report in-person to a governance body regarding system functionality, use and performance. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel. Ability to work independently and function as a member of a project team. Internal contacts across the enterprise and external vendors to synthesize system processes and achieve effective execution and synergy. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related discipline, preferred. Minimum 5 year's systems administration experience with CapEx Planning and Management systems. MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Access, MS Outlook, SharePoint. Hands on PM Web. Procore or Peoplesoft or similar system experience preferred. Experience with facilitating requirements, assessment or design sessions, and designing, configuring, coding capability and testing applications. Highly skilled in the use of spreadsheet, database and supply chain or procurement software preferred. Complex analytical and problem-solving skills. Decisiveness with a strong work ethic. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. Support cross training activities. Reliable and highly flexible. Highly organized. Demonstrated problem solving skills. Minimal travel Please note that we are open to candidates within a commutable distance (75 - 100 miles) to Buffalo that would be working a partial telecommute (3 days a week in office).
