Job Description:

Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated CDL Driver to join our transportation team, helping us continue our mission of leading the industry in environmental, energy, and industrial services. This vital position involves handling hazardous materials and waste, requiring adherence to all safety and environmental regulations. As a CDL Driver at Clean Harbors, you will not only play a significant role in our logistics operations but also contribute to our overarching goal of ensuring environmental safety and sustainability. Transport hazardous waste and materials in compliance with company and government regulations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials, verifying materials are correctly classified. Maintain accurate logs, reports, and vehicle inspection records in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies. Perform daily checks on the vehicle and associated equipment, maintaining cleanliness and functionality. Participate in emergency response calls when required, providing prompt service. Coordinate with the dispatch team and compliance staff to ensure smooth operations and adherence to schedules. Engage in ongoing training related to safety procedures, material handling, and emergency response. Proficient in operating heavy vehicles and handling hazardous materials safely. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards. Ability to maintain accurate records and manage route planning effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for team collaboration and customer interaction.
