Job Description:
Clean Harbors is looking for a dedicated CDL Route Driver to
join our team in a dynamic and essential role within our
transportation and logistics department. In this position, you will
be crucial in ensuring the safe and compliant transport of
hazardous and non-hazardous waste from various customer locations
to designated disposal facilities. Your role will support our
mission of sustainability and safety in the environmental services
industry, contributing significantly to our goals of protecting the
environment and advancing safe, responsible waste management
practices. Operate Class A or B tanker, vacuum trucks, and other
vehicles transporting hazardous materials. Perform daily safety and
maintenance checks of vehicles and equipment. Ensure proper loading
and unloading of materials; adhere to all safety and operational
protocols. Maintain compliance with DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations,
understanding company policies related to waste handling. Prepare
and manage documentation and records for transport like manifests,
logs, and hours of service reports. Communicate effectively with
customers and ensure outstanding service. Proficient in operating
vacuum trucks, tankers, and heavy equipment. Strong knowledge of
DOT and hazardous waste regulations. Ability to manage and complete
documentation and logs. Good physical health, capable of heavy
lifting and working long hours. Excellent communication and
customer service skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL Class A or B license with a
clean driving record. Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency
Response (HAZWOPER) certification preferred. Other relevant safety
and handling certifications.
