Job Description:
System Freight, Inc. is searching for dedicated and professional
CDL-A Drivers to join our Batavia, NY team. With our focus on
direct-to-store deliveries and optimized fleet management, our
drivers play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for
timely and efficient transportation services across the
Northeastern United States. This position provides a valuable
opportunity for career-minded drivers to work with a company that
values reliability and safety. Safe and timely transportation of
freight to predetermined destinations within scheduled timeframes.
Regular inspection of vehicles for mechanical items and safety
issues and performing preventative maintenance. Plan routes
effectively and adapt routes to accommodate traffic and weather
conditions to ensure on-time deliveries. Compliance with all DOT
regulations and safety standards. Accurately complete logs, reports
and vehicle inspections daily. Proven work experience as a truck
driver with ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and
regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected
situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.). Ability to drive and
operate heavy trucks over varied terrains and lengthy distances.
