Our client, a college in Houghton, NY, is seeking a cleaner to join their team. As a Cleaner, you will be part of the Facilities Department supporting the Campus Services Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Cleaner Location: Houghton, NY Pay Range: $16/hour Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm What’s the Job? Temporary position - few weeks. Clean and sanitize common areas and restrooms across campus Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals according to guidelines Maintain cleanliness of both interior and exterior campus areas Perform outdoor duties including shoveling walkways when needed What’s Needed? Must have own reliable vehicle Ability to work an 8-hour shift from 6:30am to 3:00pm Experience with commercial or institutional cleaning preferred Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods What’s in it for me?
