The Manufacturing Recruiter will take complete ownership of a high
volume full cycle recruitment process. The ideal candidate will
create and nurture connections within the Optics Community to
attract and source top talent. A successful manufacturing recruiter
will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and
proactively identify current and future hiring needs.
Addiitionally, the recruiter will support, screening, interviewing,
and assessing candidates, as needed. Ultimately the
responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company
attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a
strong talent pipeline.
Summary of Essential Job Duties:
Take complete ownership of a high volume full-cycle recruitment
Design and implement overall recruiting strategy.
Create, maintain, and nurture connections within the Optics
Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
Attract candidates using various sources, like social media
networks, community events, and career fairs.
Create standardized interviewing materials for hiring managers.
Manage company website recruiting page and all recruitment
Maintain recruitment forms, materials, and platforms, including
compliance and necessary updates.
Work with company's hiring managers to ensure all staff
requisitions are satisfied with top talent.
Utilize social and professional networking sites to identify and
source candidates, along with company's in-house Marketing
Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and report them to hiring
managers and HR team, as needed.
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate
relationships during the selection process.
Network through industry contracts, association memberships, trade
groups and employees.
Locate and document where to find ideal candidates.
Communicate with Managers and employees regularly to establish
rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
Create contacts within the industry, as well as attend local
professional and membership development meetings.
Coordinate college recruiting initiatives, along with developing
college working relationships to aid in recruiting.
Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
Perform administrative duties and recordkeeping.
Responsible for weekly reporting of all open requisitions and

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel, Word, and

Proven work experience as a high-volume recruiter.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize with a focus on employee

High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 3-5 years of recruiting
support are required. Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now platform, ATS,
optics industry, employment, and payroll laws a plus.
