Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Recruiter will take complete ownership of a high volume full cycle recruitment process. The ideal candidate will create and nurture connections within the Optics Community to attract and source top talent. A successful manufacturing recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify current and future hiring needs. Addiitionally, the recruiter will support, screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates, as needed. Ultimately the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.
Summary of Essential Job Duties:
Take complete ownership of a high volume full-cycle recruitment process.
Design and implement overall recruiting strategy.
Create, maintain, and nurture connections within the Optics Community.
Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
Attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks, community events, and career fairs.
Create standardized interviewing materials for hiring managers.
Manage company website recruiting page and all recruitment platforms.
Maintain recruitment forms, materials, and platforms, including compliance and necessary updates.
Work with company's hiring managers to ensure all staff requisitions are satisfied with top talent.
Utilize social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates, along with company's in-house Marketing team.
Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and report them to hiring managers and HR team, as needed.
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.

Network through industry contracts, association memberships, trade groups and employees.
Locate and document where to find ideal candidates.
Communicate with Managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
Create contacts within the industry, as well as attend local professional and membership development meetings.
Coordinate college recruiting initiatives, along with developing college working relationships to aid in recruiting.
Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.

Perform administrative duties and recordkeeping.
Responsible for weekly reporting of all open requisitions and filled positions.
Responsible for setting up and leading any recruiting initiatives.
Oversee all necessary paperwork involved with recruitment and hiring process (including obtaining all necessary signatures prior to action) and relaying this information directly to the management and remaining HR team.
Organize all interviews and communication between management and candidates.
Write and forward resume receipt and rejection letters.
Prepare and send offer letters.
Perform other special projects and duties as assigned.
If applicable, responsible for obtaining, negotiating, and communicating all agency contracts prior to disbursement of candidates to management.

Knowledge & Skills:
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now.
Proven work experience as a high-volume recruiter.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize with a focus on employee recruitment.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Always follows through and completes tasks on time.
Excellent time management and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Maintain high confidentiality regarding the nature of human resources work.
Ability to travel for training, and plan development, and maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate.
Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Ability to adapt to changing environment.
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
At least 3-5 years of experience in two or more of the following is preferred:
-Recruitment
-Administration
-Customer service

Requirements and Competencies:
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents. Ability to communicate effectively to team members and management.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.

Educational/Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 3-5 years of recruiting support are required. Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now platform, ATS, optics industry, employment, and payroll laws a plus.

Additional Requirements:
Pursuant to ITAR, EAR, and other export compliance laws and regulations, applicants for this position must be U.S. Persons as defined by U.S. law, i.e., U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents ("Green Card" holders), persons granted refugee status or asylum status in the United States, or temporary residents granted amnesty.

Environment & Physical Demands:
Professional office environment with routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machine; noise level typical of a standard office environment
Prolonged sitting, computer and telephone use, as well as standing, filing, bending, reaching and lifting and carrying up to 15 pounds
Occasional exposure to manufacturing plant floor requiring the use of personal protective equipment (ear plugs, safety glasses, etc.)

Travel:
When needed to attend recruiting events and training opportunities.

RPO offers highly competitive, total compensation packages linked directly to employee's professional experience. Additionally, we work a 4/10 work week that provides for every Friday as a non-work day.
