Job Description:

As a Rural Carrier Associate (RCA) with the United States Postal Service, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient delivery of mail and packages to rural communities. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential service to the public while enjoying the autonomy of working independently. RCAs are responsible for delivering mail along designated routes and will perform various customer service and operational tasks as needed. Sort and deliver mail accurately along assigned rural routes. Drive postal vehicle along designated routes in all weather conditions. Provide excellent customer service to rural patrons. Collect outgoing mail and ensure its delivery to sorting facilities. Maintain accurate records of mail deliveries and collections. Handle customer inquiries and provide information on postal services. Keep vehicle and mail secure from unauthorized access. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently under deadlines. Good interpersonal and customer service skills. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift mail containers.
