Qualifications: Day and Night Shift (Required) US work authorization (Required) breakfast cook or Italian /American food chef / cook Restaurant: 1 years (Preferred) Food Safety Certification (Preferred) Full Job Description We are hiring for Strong, serious minded Chefs / Cooks and a restaurant manager New restaurant is for a professionals Chefs / Cooks to start our kitchen. The successful candidate will employ its culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers' satisfaction. Skills Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Familiar with industry's best practices Culinary school diploma (Preferred) Responsibilities Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables or preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Report & follow Head chef's instructions Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Stock inventory appropriately Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Minimum Requirements A minimum of 1 years experience as a line or lead cook. Must be able to work weekdays, weekends & Holidays. Passionate about the industry, willing to learn and grow within the company. Ability to work in a fast paced environment Read, retain and execute recipes Demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail and a sense of urgency. Displaying a positive and friendly attitude towards guests & co-workers Uphold our high standards for sanitation and safety Team Player References will be required upon interview. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Payment: Negotiable according with experience Schedule: 8 hour shift Evening shift Every weekend Holidays Monday to Friday Night shift Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: Webster, NY : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
