At IDEX Health & Science, you have the opportunity to work with a great group of people, mentor others, and build a great future.SCOPE OF ROLE: The Customer Service team's primary focus is to provide an exceptional customer experience. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for sales order entry and updates, processing returns and credits, issuing basic quotes for custom sized standard product or non-warranty RMAs and supporting customers via email or phone. The team members work as internal liaisons for our customers and field teams; partnering with other departments (including Sales, Marketing, Planning and Operations) to resolve issues or respond to inquiries.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Support new order entry in the Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) systemProvide critical support for processing Returned Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) in the ERP systemEscalate customer concerns and problems that could impact customer satisfaction or revenue recognitionConsistently review inventory for availability, administer order changes as neededAppropriately answer and distribute calls from customersOperate with the constraints of shipment cutoff time and establish lead timesEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree; High School Diploma or GED and equivalent work experience also will be consideredAt least (3) three years demonstrated success in a Customer Service/Order Management/Field Support or similar environment with evidence of increasing responsibility and growthProven experience with customer service processes within a manufacturing environmentPrevious Life Science or Clinical Industry experience a plusExperience working within an ERP system; JD Edwards (JDE) preferredSignificant experience with managing shared email folders, schedules and tasks within Microsoft OutlookOTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:Outstanding demonstrated verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsProven ability to quickly develop expertise, multi-task, embrace change and innovate in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work collaboratively with virtual teams and processes Experience with ERP systems, JDE experience a plusExperience using Microsoft suite including: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.Good computer skillsSelf-starter, maintains a high ethical standard in customer satisfactionPassion to satisfy customer and positive "can do "attitude Must have solid time management and exemplary organizational skillsDisplay outstanding self-initiative requiring minimal supervision IDEX Health & Science LLC., a Unit of IDEX Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to workforce diversityAre you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world?IDEX is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Affirmative Action Employer.
