Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,424 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/14/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required License: NY license required in hand to submit Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: EPIC charting experience is required Candidate must float to general procedures when not busy in CVOR Previous charge experience is preferred Travel experience is required A variety of specialty-specific procedures are performed Description: The role involves being a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician. The technician will assist in elective and emergency surgeries for both adults and pediatric patients. Tasks include supporting a variety of surgical specialties. Candidates will be expected to participate in one call shift per week and one full weekend per month. Floating to general procedures may be required when there are no ongoing CVOR procedures. The team will operate 23 operating rooms and one procedure room. The position may involve handling advanced surgical techniques and equipment, including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System. Responsibilities include preparation and maintenance of surgical instruments and the sterile field. Candidates should have experience with various cardiac procedures and equipment.
